Maintenance Technician - Pierce County
Location: Pierce County Type: Full Time
Job Description

Targa Real Estate Services is seeking a full-time maintenance technician to maintain several residential communities in Pierce County, WA.

 

As the maintenance technician, you will be responsible to perform various maintenance functions including repairs to the following: electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry and restoring units to be re-rented to new tenants.

 

Maintenance technicians also provide ground maintenance inspections of the buildings and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Maintenance of grounds and common areas to ensure a clean, safe and sanitary condition

·         Interior and exterior painting

·         Plumbing repair work

·         Minor electrical repairs – appliance troubleshoot

·         Carpentry

·         Some lawn and garden maintenance

·         Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on all appropriate equipment

·         Maintain material and supply inventory

·         Manage 24 hour pager as applicable

What We Need From You:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Experience preferred in residential maintenance, including painting, some electrical, light plumbing, swimming pool maintenance a plus!

·         Understanding of local, state, and federal Fair Housing laws

·         Experience with maintenance of tools and equipment

·         Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds)

·         Above-average communication skills

·         Experience in customer service

·         Must have valid state driver’s license with reliable transportation
