  • Michael Petramalo
    President
    Michael Petramalo
    President

    Michael is the Vice President for Targa Real Estate Services, Inc and is responsible for the oversight of Targa. Michael received his formal education from Pacific Lutheran University where he obtained a BA in Business with a marketing concentration and finance minor. As important as his formal education was, it is the many years of tutelage from his father that has given him the hands-on training to be one of the best Executives in the area. This has afforded him the opportunity to manage investments for many of Targa Real Estate Services’ largest clients. With a current management portfolio totaling well over $250 million Michael has the experience to manage many different types of multi-family assets. Michael has been responsible for the management of Class A assets as well as the rehab and lease up of bank owned/distressed properties. This versatility is necessary in multi-family management. Michael holds certifications from the Washington State Housing Finance Commission for Low Income Housing Tax Credit Properties; and is also involved in Crime Free Housing Programs with many cities in both King and Pierce County.

    Michael’s responsibilities extend beyond managing properties. Since Michael has been employed with Targa Real Estate Services, Inc. he has led the charge in keeping Targa on the cutting edge of technology. Overseeing Targa Real Estate Services “Information Technology (IT)” department has allowed him to work with a national software provider, customizing on-site software that gives investors access to information 24 hours a day and increases on-site staff efficiency levels. Michael is responsible for the implementation and training of said on-site software at each asset that Targa manages.

    Michael’s skill set is an integral part of Targa Real Estate Services, Inc. and is a benefit to every client that Targa Real Estate Services, Inc. works for.

    Controller

    Pam has served as controller for Targa Real Estate Services, Inc. for over 30 years. She is in charge of the bookkeeping department at our corporate office and oversees all internal accounting operations for each of our bookkeepers. She supervises our corporate office staff, establishes and maintains accounting systems, sets up corporate goals and strategies. Pam's responsibilities include maintenance of all trust accounts, (over 200 separate accounts), development of statement formats, direct bank transfers (volume $6 million per month), processing of payroll for over 100 employees, and completion of tax reports.

  • Bud Pryor

    Bud is the “Apartment Guy” at Targa Real Estate Services, Inc. – overseeing our 60+ apartment communities with the help of a talented and well-trained team of regional managers and on-site property managers throughout the Puget Sound Area and beyond. After attending college in Western Washington, Bud spent the next twenty years in the hospitality business as both a regional operations manager and franchise consultant, often working closely with the corporate site-selection and product-procurement teams.

    Today, Bud brings his talent for personnel selection and team building to Targa with well over ten years of apartment specific experience. Along with “on-the job training” where veteran managers and maintenance staff members are often paired up with new employees, his team utilizes a nationally recognized on-line training program that is accessible for both initial training and continuing education.

    Bud is instrumental in developing and implementing operating policies in the property management division, making sure that the practices best serve our clients’ assets. He serves as the main conduit between our staff members and our well-vetted team of vendors. Bud and his team never take for granted that they are trusted with the financial well-being of client assets and work hard to tailor their every act to the needs of each individual building.

    TARGA REAL ESTATE SERVICES, INC., a corporation licensed to do business in Washington State and Arizona State, was established in 1987. The owner and sole stock holder is Thomas M. Petramalo, CPM (Certified Property Manager), CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). After receiving both a marketing and finance degree from Pacific Lutheran University, Tom spent two years in New York working in a development company. Moving back to the Seattle area, he spent the next five years working for a large regional property management company in Tacoma. During that time, he was responsible for lease ups for many of the area’s largest real estate builders. An opportunity to expand his career came from a national syndicate where Tom spent the next four years leasing up and managing projects acquired at Epic Realty. There he became Vice President in charge of the newly established fee management division - an operation that grew to be one of the largest in the country. In 1987, an entrepreneurial desire propelled Tom into his own business venture known as TARGA REAL ESTATE SERVICES, INC. Thomas M. Petramalo holds the designation of CCIM.

    A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. A CCIM is an invaluable resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor, and user, and is among an elite membership of 7,500 professionals across North America who hold the CCIM designation.

    Recognized for its preeminence within the industry, the CCIM represents the core knowledge expected of commercial investment practitioners, regardless of the diversity of specializations within the industry. The CCIM designation indicates its members posses essential skill sets in: financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate. This designation ensures that CCIMs are proficient not only in theory, but also in practice. CCIMs are committed to ongoing education and specialty training.

    Only six percent of the estimated 125,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program but also why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry. The CCIM membership network mirrors the increasingly-changing nature of the industry and includes brokers, leasing professionals, investment counselors, asset managers, appraisers, corporate real estate executives, property managers, developers, institutional investors, commercial lenders, attorneys, bankers and other allied professionals.
